Enwave and RioCan Form Partnership Committed to Sustainable Solutions

The new partnership will allow Enwave to advance their low carbon objectives by exploring sustainable energy solutions at certain RioCan developments.
Enwave Energy Corp. has entered a new energy partnership with RioCan Real Estate Investment to advance the implementation of low carbon geoexchange energy solutions at certain RioCan developments.
One of the first projects to be deployed is at the RioCan Leaside Centre development project in Toronto (815–845 Eglinton Ave. E.), where a district scale geoexchange solution is being implemented for the 1.3 million sq. ft. mixed-use development project.
Earlier this year Enwave launched its GeoCommunities platform, specifically focused on the development of low-carbon solutions for single-building and community residential developments like the Leaside project with RioCan. Since the launch, Enwave has also partnered with two other development projects in the Toronto area to deploy stand-alone geoexchange solutions for residential towers now under construction.
